LIGHT ME INTO EXISTENCE
by Lesedi Chibvupe
You found me in my darkest hour,
It was a time in which I could not move, I was stagnant.
You came to me like dawn,
Your light felt like both the moon and the sun,
Warming, calming, gentle and filled me with hope.
I felt visible in your presence.
All my hopes seemed to add up to this:
That you light up all of me.
Surround me please,
I want you to see all of me.
